columbia, sc family photographer - melinda, will, & james

Melinda contacted me about doing some family photos with her husband and two boys. Unfortunately, her husband had something last minute come up and wasn’t able to join so we changed focus a little. This session was about this mom and her two boy :)
James and Will are opposites. Will is very serious and thinks through things whereas Will is full of energy and silly. I told Melinda you can tell which one is a left-brain thinker and a right brain thinker. I love photographing these too boys.
I had a great time with these three and hopefully we will be able to do the photos with all four next time.
Melinda- thank you for asking me to photograph you and your awesome boys. I had a great time and I hope you like the photos! Don’t forget, I promised to get some with your husband so we need to make sure we do them ;)
Here are my favs. Enjoy!

columbia, sc family & pet photographer - tad's family

I found my dream home.
The only problem is that Tad and is super adorable one-year old pup, Abi, live there!
His 1920’s house is a show stopper and you can tell he put a lot of time and heart into making this little beauty shine.
Tad wanted to get photos of his parents taken so they joined us. Jean & Floyd were a pleasure to photograph. After 60+ years of marriage, it’s clear they still care deeply for each other. Just look at how Floyd looks at Jean! Swoon.
I snapped some of Miss. Abi as well then we took some headshots for Tad.
Lastly, I was able to photograph his home. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my wide-angle with me so I plan on going back over soon to take more! I am posting some to give you a sneak peek!
Tad (Jean, Floyd, & Abi) – thank you for allowing me to photograph y’all! I had a wonderful time and hope you enjoy!
Here are some of my favorites! Enjoy!

columbia, sc wedding photographer - goodlett wedding

Have you ever attended a wedding that went off without a hitch? Yea – me neither until I shot Katie & Chris’ wedding. The bridal party was dressed in time for before photos, the ceremony started on time, the food was yummy, and the band kept the party going all night.
In my opinion, it was just about as close to perfect as it could have been. There were tears & laughter.
It was a beautiful, but long day – note to self: TOMS are not good for 8 hours weddings! ;)
Mr. & Mrs. Goodlett got married at The Lace House in Columbia, SC on October 20th. I have been looking forward to this wedding for sometime because I knew Katie and her mom were pulling out all the stops to make this wedding amazing!
The bridal party was a hoot, as you will see. Jace, Chris' son was the best man and Katie had a matron of honor, Carrie, and a maid of honor, April.
Katie & Chris - thank you for having me photograph your special day. I had a blast and I could not have asked for better clients! Congratulations!
